Day 1 – In the rain at Boavista

Just back from the annual ACGS tour, this year based out of Lagos in Portugal.  I have been attending since 2004, but this trip was running a good few years before I was invited.  I decided each day would be a Bunker Shirt day and the guys certainly commented on the colours!

Day 2 – Morgado, getting prepared for the Portuguese Open

Having been in the lead after Day 1 and Day 3 with 35 and 37 points, sadly I ran out of steam on the final day at the sister course to Morgado, called Alamos.  The wind was blowing and I missed a number of fairways, which was punishing.  I ended up in 2nd place overall.  As the tour organiser this year, I had the pleasure of presenting the trophy, prizes and look forward to next year, destination, still to be decided.
