Beer Review - Nineteenth Hole Brewing - Ace Lager

The guys over at Nineteenth Hole Brewing sent us a nice little present last week, and we'll never say no to a beer sample!

Its not often your beer is specifically designed for golf, so this is definitely a first. Created by 3 golf addicts in the south of England, they've taken their 2 passions in life and combined them to create a refreshing treat.

Their Ace Lager is brewed using a combination of Saaz and Brewers Gold hops, and cold fermented for 6 weeks to provide the ultimate crisp lager. Fortunately, they were kind enough to send us a crate of 12, we soon found out that one beer simply wasn't enough (always drink responsibly of course!). At 4.6% ABV. It's a nice sociable beverage, especially now we're coming into the summer months. A couple of cold ones of these while striding the fairways is definitely a match made in heaven.
