2019 Sneak Peek! Hottest prints

This week we are back behind the scenes with team design. We have something very exciting to show you, so put a date in your diary and come back this time next year to get your hands on our new SS19 collection.

It is packed full of energy, with bold prints and lively new colour palettes.

Bunker is moving in a new direction, with stripped back branding giving a more refined and sophisticated look.

It’s been a busy week at Bunker HQ, with our samples arriving on Friday and our photo shoot on Monday. Seeing the designs for the first time on a model just makes the whole design process worthwhile. (It does help that Jamie looks good in everything)

It’s always a good idea to have a plan of the order and outfits you are shooting on the day otherwise there is chaos. The outfit combinations come alive off paper, there are a variety of looks from Modern Classics that feature in our Mid and Core range to our Design polo’s that create the perfect golf styled outfit.

These can be worn on and off the course, whether you’re having a casual stroll around town or sat on a sandy beach in sunny paradise.

Some of our favourite prints this season have to be the ones that instantly catch your attention.

Dare to be bold and take to the fairways with our all time favourite. Our signature vertical stripe is back but this time with a 60’s retro twist. We worked really hard getting the colour combinations of this perfect; the key to this design is the colour flash down the centre of the polo, which gives a sporty edge. This provides all the style you need, pair it up with our Nino polyester trousers for on the course or put it with jeans for that go to lifestyle piece.

Another favourite is the new Chase polo; stripes are always a winner but each year we have to think of new and inventive ways to create the same impact as the last. Here we have considered the scale and size of each stripe, we have combined thicker lines with pin stripes to give a unique twist to a classic.

We like to push the boundaries each season and by creating new colour stories we are able to achieve this. Red, white and electric blue has to be the hottest combo for SS19, the palette is really refreshing making it the perfect excuse to spend all your times away from work in the sun playing golf.

Break the rules with the New Zigzag print because style matters, we have a lot of love for this design so this will definitely be the go to outfit in your wardrobe. It is adventurous and a staple piece that shouldn’t be missed.  The key to this piece is the white zigzag stripe that runs throughout, this creates the right balance of brightness and pop to create this garment come to life.
