Our Crowdfunding Journey So Far

Our Crowdfunding journey has begun! 

We thought you may be interested to hear some of the thought process behind this latest venture with you, our community, 

The last 2 years have been quite roller coaster for us, with the pandemic, buying out a shareholder and realigning our selling strategy. However, Bunker Mentality is now poised for exponential growth and in the best shape that we've ever been. 

Crowdfunding was suggested to us by a few customers, who felt, with our connection to our community, it would be a perfect fit. Following intensive investigation, together with talking to other brands that have successfully completed many crowdfunding rounds, we took the plunge to commit to the campaign. 

There are a few reasons that it feels right to pursue this strategy below

• We believe in you, our Bunker Community. You have supported us over the last 2 years and encouraged us to keep going when times have been tough. 
• You believe in us... what Bunker Mentality stands for. You trust our unique DNA and commitment to creating golf gear with bold colours & graphic energy together with unrelenting customer service. This is what gives us the passion to push forward to our next chapter of growth
• The Golf market is booming, both here in the UK and worldwide. We believe that Bunker is a golf brand for you. Today's golfer is looking for new substance and style, and embraces golf lifestyle as well as more traditional golf gear. 
• We want to share our success with you, as a thank you for supporting us. There is no better way for us to do that than continue to work hard and smart to maximise our potential, and reward you along the journey. 

What's happened so far?

Over the last 2 months, we have been working with Crowdcube to pull together our Deck, shoot a video and ensure that everything that is on our pitch has gone through legal due diligence. This is a very vigorous process that Crowdcube insist upon, to ensure that you can trust the information that is presenting you and that it has all be independently verified. Literally we have had to dig out old wage slips from 20 years ago! 

We have also been speaking to friends of the brand and other investors who have indicated that they will pledge larger amounts, these are called our 'lead investors'. Christmas got in the way of finalising some of these, but we are overwhelmed with the conversations that we're having and the belief in our brand and future strategy. These conversations continue but in the meantime, a huge thank you to the investors that have already made their pledges, you are simply amazing!

The VIP Private Live Launch

During this preparation time, we opened the pre registration list for you to share your email address for priority VIP access. We have been humbled by the number of people that have registered their interest. 

It may seem like it's taken a long time to get from first sharing this campaign with you back in November last year, and finally pushing our VIP Campaign link live last Friday, but the work behind the scenes has been continual, getting a campaign to this point is no small thing, much more involved and intense than we thought thats for sure. 

Now is the time for you, our community to Pledge

The stage we are at now is called "private live". We have opened our Campaign up to our Bunker community who have registered their interest, and you can now make your pledge. 

As you can imagine, we have been refreshing the page, and monitoring every platform for questions and updates to make sure that everything is working as it should. This has been incredibly emotional full of anticipation, relief, as well as every other emotion you can imagine! 

We believe in what we are doing and know that we can make an incredible success of our brand. Our journey so far has been full of twists and turns, some of which have been difficult to navigate through, but with the support of our community, and a laser focus on our strategy and goals, we can do this.
