SAVOUR THE FLAVOUR OF A SAVIOUR!

Navigation brewery

So, last week we held the very first Bunker Jam at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club. The event seemed to be a huge success and those that took part spoke very highly of their day and said they’d be back next time for sure. We were very fortunate on the day to have the support of the Navigation Brewery who very kindly supplied us with two great beers which were used on our ‘hit the fairway and you get a beer, miss the fairway and you get a water’ challenge. It turns out that when beer is on the line, people can be very accurate off the tee!

Navigation brewery - Saviour Ale

One of the fantastic beers they gave to us was their Saviour; a 5.5% American Style IPA. Safe to say, this proved very popular with our competitors. Its light golden colour was perfect for the warm sunny day. They’ve used hops from the west coast of America, which when mixed with lager hops; give this IPA a big boost of flavour. It’s extremely floral in its smell, with a slightly fruity yet almost sweet taste. This beer is so good, it was even recognised by SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers), taking home Gold in the cask ale category. You seriously need to give this beer a go!!

Just a little thank you to Dom and all the guys down at Navigation for their generosity and support throughout, we can’t wait to hopefully work with you guys again, and we’ll be down soon to give some more of your beers a thorough taste test.
