My clobber

England are out of the World cup, we’ve been hammered in the Cricket again and the days are already getting shorter.

So what??  Bunker Mentality have a huge sale on!

If you’re wondering what to buy, my current favourites are:

Cmax golfadelic in white – very comfortable and looks great when paired with Red sub 65 trousers or Hot pink Jetbacks or SupaG shorts.

Tour Stripes Playa in Hot pink/Black – awesome cotton Polo shirt, really nice feel, probably the best polo shirt I’ve ever bought. I was worried about the embroidered logo (potential nipple chafage), but no problems, it’s a great quality polo shirt that is ridiculously comfortable! (pair this with white or black trousers/shorts)

Think I’ll be ordering myself a Racing Stripe polo (in White of course!) ready for the next golf day.

For evening manouvres I have a green Stella’s Clubhouse (Green) and a Who’s your caddy (White) t-shirt that are great, I am less keen on my Bunker Eagle (yellow) as the material is a bit lightweight for me…a nice T-shirt, just not really my style.

I played Ombersley golf club in the lovely Worcestershire countryside on 17th May, in the glorious sunshine with my Dad (Bri), Dave and Ady.  Wearing my Tour stripes Playa polo I managed to card an 89 – that may not seem like much but for me that’s a huge deal! I was run close by Dave who scored a great 93, with Bri and Ady bringing up the rear. Very litte wind, dry conditions, sunny skies. I would highly recommend a visit to this course, very friendly atmosphere, great facilities, cracking course.

On 15th & 16th June myself, Dave, Ade and Jimmy went to Whitefields Golf Club at Draycote Hotel for a one night deal – £39 for B+B and 2 rounds of golf at Whitefields golf club on the banks of Draycote water. The rain stayed away and a good couple of days was had by all. I won both days, but nobody had a great score on an absolutely perfect course. I wore a polo from last season on day 1 with white Sub65 trousers, wearing my Golfadelic on day 2 with red Sub65’s….not forgetting the compulsory ‘Hit it hard’ belt and ‘Bad mutha putta’ cap.

Oh…almost forgot, I chipped in for par after hitting the bunker on the 5th at Whitefields golf club…now that is Bunker Mentality!!!
