MacIntyre turns away.... makes hole-in-one

Bob MacIntyre didn't look best pleased when he hit his tee shot at TPC Louisiana's 14th hole but the outcome was pretty special.

The left-hander, who is playing with countryman Martin Laird in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, saw his tee shot come up short but there then followed a few moments of confusion before it was confirmed that the ball had disappeared underground.

 The ace took the Scots to six under for the day in the pairs event, a score that they remained on in an opening 66, and it was his first on the PGA Tour.

Afterwards MacIntyre replied on Twitter: "I can confirm I thought it was going to be 15/20 feet but we will take that."
