Life on challenge tour
Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately, I’ve been quite busy playing the events on challenge tour. The events are coming thick and fast.
Im loving the travelling from each event and we get to see all the great countries of the world.
Since playing in Kenya my next event was in Spain where a few wind delays disrupted the event and unfortunately I missed the cut.
After Spain I headed to Madeira for a co sanctioned event with the European tour where more delays hit! This time it was fog delays, this forced the officials to reduce the tournament to 54 holes and an 18 hole cut which I missed by 2 shots. Although these unfortunate things didn’t help me, my game felt good and I was excited for the up and coming events which were in Turkey, Austria and Czech Republic.
I played great for these 3 events stringing some good results together. I finished t2nd in Turkey, t26 in Austria and t53 in Czech Republic. After this I took a week of to recharge the batteries and then found myself in France.
The game was a bit rusty but made the cut round a tricky course and a final round let me down to finish 62nd.
I’m now currently in Belgium practicing for the next tournament. It starts on Thursday and I’m really looking forward to playing. I’ve done a bit of work on the swing so I’m feeling good about my game, so I hope for a good week.
Don’t forget to follow me on twitter: @dcouplandgolf and on Facebook: davecouplandgolf for all the news and insight of my times on tour.
Also look out for me on Skysports 4 on the 1st and 29th of July, I’ll be wearing the bunker gear so looking good
All the best and speak soon
