Inspired by the neighbourhood outbreaks of song in Italy, vocal leader James Sills has created Sofa Singers. This online virtual choir group managed to bring hundreds of people together from around the world for a simultaneous singalong from the comfort of everyone's own sofa.

It may be something so simple, but to bring together so many people doing something really simple is just fantastic. The overall aim to bring a smile to people's faces when they need it most has been a resounding success.
