Catching up on the season so far.  I had the privilege to play in the BA Flying Start charity day at the Grove near Watford 2 weeks ago.  Hosted by Gabby Logan, Clare Balding, John Bishop and Gary Lineker (on prize giving duties) it was a great day and I decided to brighten up our team with a splash of “unapologetic boldness”.  My new Bunker shirt, trousers and jacket got their first outing, fresh from my box of purchases from the website.  Fellow Srixon fan Paul, Kevin, Tom and myself had great fun contributing to a very worthwhile cause and whilst we didn’t win, we had a cracking day, interrupted only by an aerial display by a Spitfire which greeted us on the putting green as the day started.  My highlight of the day was my 9 iron into the dogleg 10th hole, which took one bounce and plopped into the hole…..kerrrrching!
