Captains Day – East Sussex National

I love playing championship courses! My 2nd visit to East Sussex National was as to be expected…… tough! On a hot summers day in late July, the greens were hard and fast, which showed up even the well hit shots that were not to the correct areas of the greens. Luckily I play with a load of hackers (lol) and they all found it tricky too.
Check out the videos on Youtube from “Mark Crossfield” recently to see some of the holes at East Sussex National

Today was the day to bust out the brightest Bunker Gear I had, so on with the CMax Hombre Polo – Hot Pink and SupaG Shorts – Blue and we were rockin’! 32 pts got me round for the day, without losing a ball, and again nicely placed 4th for the day to punt me up the society table to 3rd spot! We also run a “birdies” kitty for the last four holes, and for the 3rd event in a row it rolled over, meaning over £200 being in the pot for the next round!

The Drift GC is Surrey is Augusts venue for round 6. Report coming soon!
